Starquest Performing Arts is a highly regarded and qualified performing arts school located in Chatham, Kent. With branches in both Chatham and Sheppey, Starquest offers a wide range of opportunities for children aged two and a half to 18 years old to explore and develop their skills in dance, singing, and acting through the power of performance.
Established in 1960, Starquest Performing Arts is proud to be an independent school, allowing them to set their own high standards and creativity without any third-party interference. As members of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), they provide experienced training across various dance forms, ensuring quality and excellence are maintained. The IDTA-approved examiners mark any exams that students enter into, bringing peace of mind to parents and guardians.

The highlight of the year is the spectacular end-of-year show, where the entire school comes together to entertain proud parents and audience members. Starquest's extensive range of classes includes movement for toddlers, singing, dance, drama, classical ballet, commercial, pas de deux, adagio/duet work, musical production, acro, body conditioning, street jazz, musical theatre, tap, lyrical, folkloric and national dance, theatre craft, hip hop, Greek and natural movement, elocution, and monologue work. Private lessons and coaching sessions are also available.
