About
Welcome to Stirling Golf Club, one of the oldest and most picturesque golf courses in Scotland. Situated in the beautiful Old Town of Stirling, the club offers stunning views in all directions.
Stirling Golf Club has gained a reputation as a Scottish Golf Championship Venue and is consistently maintained in superb condition. The course's current layout was designed by Sir Henry Cotton in 1966, following an update by James Braid almost thirty years prior. The input of these renowned golfers and architects has resulted in a course that is both enjoyable to play and challenging for golfers of all handicaps. The excellent greens are complemented by lush fairways and carefully graded rough, ensuring a smooth and seamless golfing experience.
In addition to the outstanding course, Stirling Golf Club boasts exceptional practise facilities. Golfers can take advantage of a 6-hole par 3 course, a spacious practise hitting area, driving practise nets, a natural grass putting green, and greens for bunker and chipping practise. For those looking to refine their skills further, the club offers an indoor studio that can be hired for various activities.
Stirling Golf Club is home to two on-site professionals who provide a range of services, including coaching packages and a fully comprehensive club-fitting service. The club's well-stocked shop offers a variety of retail offerings from top brands, ensuring golfers have access to the latest equipment and apparel.
