Welcome to the STMA (Shaolin Tigers Martial Arts) Academy Reading, Scours Lane Branch. Owned and run by ex-World Champion Kickboxer and Black Belt (4th Dan) instructor Dan Eden, our academy is open to all levels and experiences. Whether you're here for just a day or committed to long-term training, we have everything you need.

Our brand new STMA Academy Reading branch is one of the largest Martial Arts Academies in the UK, spanning over 2,500 square ft. It features an upstairs area with Berkshire's only MMA cage, and a downstairs area equipped with a reception, a large championship size ring, matted area, specialist training equipment, and multiple punch bags.

Shaolin Tigers Martial Arts Club provides a fun, friendly, and safe environment to train in various martial arts disciplines such as Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, and MMA. Whether your goal is to learn self-defence techniques, improve cardio and fitness, enhance your kickboxing or boxing skills, or simply relieve stress, we are here to help.

We offer martial arts classes for both juniors and adults every day of the week. Our classes not only teach self-defence, but also help boost self-awareness, self-confidence, and address both mental and physical issues. Shaolin Tigers Academy Reading is dedicated to keeping kids and young adults off the streets and providing them with a positive outlet.

In addition to our martial arts classes, we also have qualified coaches who provide over thirty Boxing Classes per month. With one of the largest western boxing training facilities in Reading, we cater to students of all ability levels. Whether you want to lose weight, get fit, compete regularly, or become a national champion, our coaches, and trainers are here to help you reach your goals.

At STMA Academy Reading, we not only focus on improving fitness and cardio, but also on strength and conditioning. We are proud to be the only boxing club in Reading that officially trains competitors for the Ultra White Collar Boxing Reading shows, where all the proceeds go towards Cancer Research UK.
