Strathmore Square Dance, located at Westmount School gym on Wheatland Trail in Strathmore, offers a fun and engaging way to connect with friends and meet new people while enjoying the art of square dancing. The club's dance season runs from October to April, and sessions are held every Wednesday evening at 7pm.

The first visit is always free, allowing newcomers to experience the excitement of square dancing without any commitment. For those who want to continue dancing, a season pass is available for the best value. The club offers a structured program for both new and experienced dancers, with step-by-step instruction provided by qualified instructors.

In addition to square dancing, the club also offers a half-hour session of basic Two-Step instruction for those interested in learning this popular dance style. The club's mission is simple: to have fun on the dance floor. With a variety of music genres played throughout the evening, dancers can enjoy everything from country to rock to salsa.

Strathmore Square Dance is a member of the Wheatland Whirlers Square Dance Club and follows the social square dancing guidelines set by the Canadian Square & Round Dance Society.
