Where do you train and row?

We are situated five minutes from the centre of Sudbury in Suffolk and Essex, with rowing and sculling on a 1500m stretch of the River Stour between a weir and a low bridge with shallow water.

What does your training look like through the year?

We train all year round, with winter training for the Men's, Women's and Masters' eights heads in March and April, and for the rest of the year we concentrate on fours, pairs, doubles and sculls.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities, and we are proud to be a family club with adaptive athletes alongside rowers aged from 12 to 80.

The boathouse is set in a peaceful location, away from the river but still in the heart of Sudbury. Members proudly display their achievements, whether it be during summer regattas or representing the club at international events like the World Rowing Masters Regatta in Hungary.
