Specialising in the Indian Classical dance forms of Bharatanatyam and Kathak, the company has branches in Yishun and Choa Chu Kang. Over the years, Swarna Kala Mandir has attracted over 100 students who have either started their journey in learning Bharatanatyam or are currently undergoing advanced training.
Through a well-structured syllabus, the students at Swarna Kala Mandir undergo intensive training in both the theory and practical aspects of Bharatanatyam and Kathak. Many of the students have actively participated in competitions and have won prizes, showcasing their talent and dedication to these art forms. The company also provides scholarships to deserving students from low-income families who excel in these art forms.
The artistes of Swarna Kala Mandir have performed at various prestigious venues in Singapore, Malaysia, and India, including the Esplanade Outdoor theatre for "Kala Utsavam 2022 Open stage". The company has successfully staged productions such as "Dhaara- the Divine Rainfall" and "Shanmatham- Six paths to Divinity" to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Recently, in August 2023, the repertory staged its second production to a full house audience at Alliance Francaise.
