He has practised Shaolin foundation, Hunyuan Gong Fu, and various styles of Taijiquan under the guidance of esteemed masters such as GM MA Hong, Dr. LI Hesheng, ZHANG Qilin, ZHANG Zhijun, CHEN Zhaosen, CHEN Xiaowang, CHEN Qingzhou, and Prof. MA Hailong.
In 2015, Ross had the honour of participating in the 8th China International Taijiquan Exchange Competition, where he won the second prize (silver medal) in the Men's Traditional Chen Taiji Hand Form.
