Rogue Adventure is gearing up for the exciting 2024 Rogue Raid, a 24-hour adventure race set to take place on 4-5 May in Moreton Bay Region, QLD. Teams will be challenged with trekking, mountain biking, and kayaking stages as they navigate the course using a map and compass. Participants can choose how many checkpoints to collect, making it a strategic event suitable for athletes of all levels.
Now in its 15th year, the Rogue Raid is one of Australia's largest 24-hour adventure races. The race will be based at the Donnybrook Community Hall, offering easy access to kayaking on Pumicestone Passage and nearby forestry trails. The picturesque coastal and hinterland terrain of Moreton Bay will provide a stunning backdrop for the race.
The event schedule includes various race disciplines over the weekend, with transition areas allowing teams to catch their breath between stages. Entries are currently open, with early bird discounts available until 18 February 2024. Those interested in volunteering or spectating can also get involved, with more information on the website.
Supported by the Moreton Bay Regional Council, the Rogue Raid is part of the Adventure 1 National Adventure Racing Series. The winning A1 team will earn a free entry to the Iron Bound 48-hour adventure race, the 2024 A1 Asian World Cup.
