The centre offers a variety of classes, including yoga and meditation, as well as wisdom discussions and cultural events. The class schedule is designed to accommodate different schedules, with classes available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
One of the centre's highlights is the Kirtan event held every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8:30pm. The Kirtan is a guided experience of healing and uplifting sound that integrates mantra meditation and live musical instruments. This immersive experience allows participants to tap into a deep state of upliftment, relieve stress, refresh the mind, and connect with their heart. Whether new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, everyone can benefit from this enchanting experience.
In addition to classes, The Bhakti Centre also offers lifestyle events and courses. These events include courses such as “Our Beloved Breath,” a breathwork course aimed at cultivating a deeper connexion with the breath, and “Philosophy of Bhakti Course – Bhagavad Gita Overview,” which consists of four classes that explore the main topics of the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhakti Centre is driven by Prema-rasa Das, the owner of the centre and a Gaudiya Vaisnava monk for over 18 years. His personal experiences, having visited and lived in temples and yoga ashrams worldwide, have solidified his belief in the transformative potential of a Bhakti lifestyle. Alongside him is Yama, who has dedicated his life to meditation and the culture of Bhakti yoga, having grown up in a temple in Peru and leading kirtan events across South America and Australia. Mei, a Qi Gong Facilitator, also contributes to the centre through her vlogs and blogs, covering various topics such as celibacy and the science of happiness.
