Club of Mississauga, founded in 1878, has a long and storied history that spans over 140 years. Originally established in downtown Toronto, the club has seen its fair share of successes and challenges, eventually settling in Mississauga in the 1960s. The boathouse, constructed in 1961 near the base of the Credit River, serves as the hub for all club activities.
The Don Rowing Club is dedicated to providing high-quality rowing programs for participants of all ages and skill levels. From novice athletes to seasoned competitors, the club offers a range of recreational, seasonal, and competitive programs to meet the needs of its diverse membership. With six boat bays housing a variety of sculling and sweeping boats, an indoor rowing tank, erg room, changing facilities, and a meeting room, the boathouse is well-equipped to support the development of rowers at every stage of their journey.
