Thornbury Town FC has a strong First Team competing in the Uhlsport Hellenic League's leading Division. They've held their ground for three seasons in a row, and Rich is proud of this achievement. But it's not just about the First Team; the club also has a thriving junior section for players aged 6 to 18 and runs a girls' football programme for ages 5 to 13 under The FA's Wildcats initiative.
The club's passionate committee, led by Rich, is dedicated to moving Thornbury Town FC forward, both on and off the pitch. They're always looking for new players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters to join the club's journey and contribute to the thriving community.
There’s exciting news too. The First Team recently had a heart-stopping 2-1 victory against Hereford Pegasus, and Cheltenham youngster Dan-Lewis Bamana has joined the squad on loan. The club is always buzzing with updates and keeps fans in the loop online about upcoming fixtures and news for all age groups, including the Reserves, Veterans, and youth teams.
Thornbury Town FC plays at Mundy Playing Fields on Kington Lane in Thornbury. While the First Team competes in the prestigious Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division, the reserves tackle the Bristol Combination Division 1. Established in 2019, the A Team has made significant strides with consecutive promotions, focusing on a positive and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
