Are proud to offer a range of martial arts classes at our Tigra Karate International (TKI) club in Bromley. With over 35 years of teaching experience, our founder Tom Tennick has created a welcoming and inclusive environment for practitioners of all levels.
At TKI Shotokan Karate, we believe that martial arts is not just about physical fitness and self-defence, but also about inner strength, focus, and personal development. Our goal is to bring strength, health, confidence, coordination, and flexibility to the lives of our students, while helping them develop their knowledge of self-defence regardless of their age.
Our club offers a variety of classes for different age groups and skill levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced martial artist, there is a class that suits your needs. We have family classes where parents and children can train together, providing a great opportunity for bonding and shared learning. We also offer specialised classes for children with special needs, ensuring that everyone can benefit from the practise of martial arts.
In addition to our regular classes, we also organise events and competitions throughout the year. These events provide students with the opportunity to showcase their skills, compete with others, and further enhance their martial arts journey.
Safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance at TKI Shotokan Karate. We have qualified instructors and black belts who are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive training environment for all students. We strictly adhere to child protection and safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken necessary measures to ensure the safety of our students. We have implemented a comprehensive risk assessment and follow strict guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic training space. We also offer online Zoom classes for those who prefer to train from the comfort of their own homes.
