TomoeArts is dedicated to promoting and preserving nihon buyoh through our performances, classes, workshops, and special events. We strive to honour the rich history and traditions of Japanese classical dance while also exploring new and innovative ways to present and interpret this art form.

Our Artistic & Managing Director, Colleen Lanki, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to TomoeArts. With over two decades of experience in directing, choreographing, and performing in a variety of shows internationally, Colleen has studied under master dancers and noh experts in Japan. She is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional Japanese performing arts and creating interdisciplinary performances that captivate audiences.
