Townsville Cricket

Townsville Cricket is a renowned cricket organisation that has been managing and administering both men and women senior and junior cricket in the Townsville region for over 50 years. With eight corporate club members and over 800 players and volunteers involved, Townsville Cricket is one of the largest regional cricket competitions in Australia.

The organisation offers a wide range of competitions for players of all ages and skill levels. For young juniors, there is the Woolworths Cricket Blast programme, as well as U11, U13, U15, and U17 junior competitions. In the senior competition, there are A grade through to C grade divisions, a Master's competition, and various T20 competitions held both in summer and winter. There are a total of 30 teams in the senior competitions and 38 teams in the junior competitions.

Townsville Cricket is also actively working towards developing a Women's programme, with many women already participating in the senior competition.

The home grounds of Townsville Cricket are located at the Murray Sporting Complex, specifically at Endeavour Park. The complex boasts three turf fields, one of which features a Hybrid pitch. These well-maintained facilities provide an ideal playing surface for cricketers of all levels.

The mission of Townsville Cricket is to provide a safe and inclusive community environment that encourages participation and professionalism both on and off the field. The organisation aims to create a sustainable platform for all current and future members to participate, learn, and achieve their potential in cricket.
