


Dawson, who saw the potential for a cricket club to be established for the old boys of what was then called Whitgift Middle School, now known as Trinity School, Croydon. The Trinity Mid-Whitgiftian Cricket Club (TMWCC) was born, and it has become one of the most renowned cricket clubs in Surrey.
TMWCC is located in Sanderstead, just a short 10-minute drive from East Croydon and 15 minutes from Junction 6 on the M25. The club boasts a picturesque ground that is widely considered one of the most beautiful places to play cricket in Surrey. This serene and stunning setting provides the perfect backdrop for cricket matches.
The club runs four Saturday league teams in the prestigious Surrey Championship, which is a testament to its dedication to high-quality cricket. TMWCC is always on the lookout for talented cricketers and welcomes them to join the club. In addition to the Saturday teams, TMWCC also runs two Sunday teams. One of these teams is committed to the Surrey Trust League, which focuses on fostering the development of youth cricket.
The club places great importance on nurturing young talent and has a vibrant Junior Section with age group sides from U8 to U16. Qualified coaches also conduct sessions for 5, 6, and 7-year-olds, ensuring that cricket is accessible and enjoyable for all age groups.

The committee consists of individuals in key positions such as Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Fixture Secretary, Team Secretary, Communications Officer, and Social Secretary. The captains of all Saturday and Sunday XIs, as well as the Vice-Captain of the Saturday 1st XI, also play crucial roles in leading the teams to success. The club also has a Junior Section Chairman, safeguarding officer, and additional members.
With a rich history dating back to 1908, TMWCC holds a special place in the hearts of its members. The club has been an integral part of the Old Mid-Whitgiftian Association (OMWA) since its formation. Throughout the years, TMWCC has continued to uphold its traditions and values while embracing a progressive approach to the game.
