Tumbleweeds Ranch is a horse riding school located in Fraserwood, Manitoba, in the heart of the Interlake region. With over 320 acres of forests, meadows, creeks, and prairie landscapes, the ranch offers a picturesque setting for horseback riding enthusiasts of all levels.
Established 18 years ago, Tumbleweeds Ranch has a rich history of providing top-notch riding lessons to students interested in honing their horsemanship skills. Prior to relocating to Fraserwood, the ranch was known as Dusty Trails in Winnipeg Beach for over 20 years, offering popular trail rides to the public.
Today, Tumbleweeds Ranch focuses on providing quality lessons to riders of all ages and abilities. With a team of experienced wranglers, apprentices, and owners, the ranch offers a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. The facilities include amenities such as a playground, fully serviced washrooms, heated tack room, indoor round pen, outdoor sand arena, and stalls for boarding.
In addition to riding lessons, Tumbleweeds Ranch has a rich history of hosting summer camps for girls aged 10-17 and Cowboy Camp for younger children aged 5-10. These camps have created lasting equestrian relationships and have inspired many former campers to pursue careers in the horse industry.
