Physie, short for Physical Culture, is the key to unlocking the potential in every individual. It is a unique sport that combines elements of various dance styles, such as jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, aerobic dance, and even yoga. With the upbeat and fun pop music we use as our soundtrack, Physie is guaranteed to be the highlight of your week for years to come. Our innovative choreography changes annually, ensuring maximum variety and excitement in every class.
Tweed Coast Physie is proud to be affiliated with BJP Physie, Australia's longest running and top Physie organisation. Established 125 years ago by the Bjelke-Petersen School of Physical Culture, BJP Physie has inspired generations of Australians to exercise both their body and mind through this remarkable sport. As a BJP Physie club, we strive to uphold the high standards and values that BJP represents.
Every class at Tweed Coast Physie has been carefully crafted to create the perfect mix of dance and exercise. Each session begins with easy stretching and warming up, followed by practising proper posture through marching and learning new dance routines. For our little ones, we have exciting games that are loved by all. Our goal is to ensure that each student improves every single week, and our classes are designed to cater to the ability level of the group.
At Tweed Coast Physie, we understand the needs of Australian families, which is why we offer affordable pricing. Classes start from just $5 per week, with an annual registration fee of only $99. There are no expensive costumes or performance fees, making Tweed Coast Physie an accessible and affordable way to learn to dance, keep fit, and add a touch of glamour to your life.
Conveniently located in two locations, Kingscliff and Banora Point, we have classes to suit any family. Our Kingscliff Community Hall location is situated at 81 Marine Parade, Kingscliff NSW 2487, and our Banora Point High School venue is located at 2 Eucalyptus Dr, Banora Point NSW 2486.
