Welcome to Unique Dance Studios, a dance school located in Lancing that offers a wide range of classes for dancers of all ages and abilities. At Unique Dance Studios, we take pride in creating a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our classes are taught by qualified and experienced teachers who are DBS checked, first aid trained, and insured. We offer classes in ISTD Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, Musical Theatre, and Lyrical. Whether your child is just starting their dance journey or is an experienced dancer, we have a class that will suit their needs.

Our Ballet classes are available for children aged 2 and up. These classes follow the ISTD syllabus and focus on teaching children technique and how to move with music. Optional ISTD exams are available for those who wish to participate.

For children aged 3 and up, we offer Jazz classes that explore the foundations of Jazz technique. Dancers in this class build strength and flexibility while learning to dance as part of a group. Each half-term, they work on one routine, making this class full of energy and fun.

Our Modern classes, for children aged 2 and up, also follow the ISTD syllabus. This style allows dancers to explore rhythm, sequences, and routines, giving them the opportunity to be creative in their dance.

If your child is interested in Musical Theatre, we offer classes for children aged 4 and up. In this class, children learn about singing, acting, and dancing all at once. Each term, the focus is on one Musical, allowing them to develop their skills in characterisation, singing, and dance moves.

Tap classes, available for children aged 4 and up, focus on the ISTD syllabus. Dancers in this class perform with shoes that have metal toe and heel taps, creating rhythms and sounds that are unique to tap dancing.

For dancers aged 8 and above, our Lyrical class combines elements of Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. This mature style of dance encourages dancers to tap into their emotions and learn how to connect with the music.

We also offer Acrobatic Arts classes for children aged 3 and up. These classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and teamwork. Optional Acrobatic Arts exams are available for those who wish to participate.
