About
Andy, the organiser, has asked to share some exciting news with everyone in the sports community. Upminster Golf Club, nestled in the London Borough of Havering in Essex, is a top-notch private Members Club, just a hop from Upminster Main Line station. With easy access to the City of London, it's perfectly placed for both members and visitors.
Andy mentions that all profits go straight back into the Course, Bowling Green, and Clubhouse, keeping everything in tip-top shape for everyone’s benefit. This reinvestment has really helped Upminster Golf and Bowls Club earn its spot as one of the region’s premier private Members Clubs.
The golf course itself offers a great mix of challenge and enjoyment, suitable for golfers of all levels. When you tee off at the first hole on the East side of Hall Lane, you’ll find a friendly and picturesque start. Whether you need a seven-iron or a hybrid depends on the day, but either way, it’s a lovely introduction to the course.
Beyond golf, Andy encourages you to check out the Club’s bowls facility. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the sport and the community spirit it brings. Memberships for bowls are open, so if you fancy giving it a go, now’s a great time.
The Clubhouse provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for members and guests. There's also a restaurant serving up some tasty meals and a professional shop for all your golfing needs.
Visitors are always welcome at Upminster Golf Club, with options for green fees and society bookings. Whether it's a round of golf or a special event, the Club offers excellent facilities and a friendly atmosphere.
If you’re interested in more information or considering membership, give them a ring on 01708 222788 or pop by at 114 Hall Lane, Upminster, Essex, RM14 1AU. Details are also available on the Club’s website.
Andy believes Upminster Golf Club is an outstanding place with superb facilities, a challenging course, and a welcoming vibe ensuring everyone has a great time. Hope to see you there!
