Urban Fitness is an evolving fitness centre in Margate, New Zealand, dedicated to helping individuals make positive changes to their bodies, minds, and lives. Following the catastrophic flooding in July, the gym had to regroup and find the best way to support its community. Recognising that not everyone feels comfortable in large gyms or has the knowledge and motivation to make the changes they desire, Urban Fitness aims to provide a supportive space for these individuals to improve their overall health and well-being.

With a reopening scheduled for early 2024, Urban Fitness will transform into Urban Fitness Studios, a community-focused space offering everything members need to achieve their fitness goals. The team behind Urban Fitness believes in creating a supportive environment where individuals can become healthier, happier, and live their lives to the fullest.

The gym at Urban Fitness offers a results-oriented community that is invested in each member's goals and success. It promotes a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere, encouraging individuals to check their egos at the door and be ready to sweat. Alexander the Great once said, “There is nothing impossible to him who will try,” and Urban Fitness embodies this mindset.

Located at Unit 8, 220-228 Northdown Road, Cliftonville, Margate, CT9 2RP, Urban Fitness is easily accessible to the local community. The gym's opening hours are weekdays from 6am to 10pm, Saturdays from 7am to 8pm, and Sundays from 8am to 8pm. Additionally, there is parking available just 150 metres away from the facility.
