UVic Sailing Club

The UVic Sailing Club, based in Victoria, is a vibrant community of sailing enthusiasts who come together to share their love for the sport and more. The club offers sailing lessons, hosts a competitive racing team, and organizes social events for members and their friends. The race team competes as a full member of the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA), participating in regattas across North America and hosting an annual regatta at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club.

Open to all UVic students, faculty, and staff, the club's sailing lessons are a great way to learn the ropes of sailing. The club also maintains the UVic Sailing Compound in Cadboro/Gyro Park, where boats and equipment are stored. To join the race team or JV team, a $90. 00 membership fee per semester can be paid online or through CARSA Membership Services desk.
