About
travel to Japan to learn the correct way of Karate-Do. I have instructed karate in North America for thirty years now. Sensei Masaru Shintanis dedication to the art of Wado-Kai Karate has made him one of the most respected Karate instructors in North America. He continues to teach and inspire students to this day at the Welland Martial Arts Centre.
At the Welland Martial Arts Centre, students are not only taught the physical aspects of martial arts but also the mental and philosophical aspects. The dojo places a strong emphasis on discipline, respect, self-control, and humility. Students are encouraged to push themselves to be the best they can be both on and off the mat.
