Whitby Karate invites all sports enthusiasts to join their top-notch martial arts training. Run by Head Sensei Renshi Adrian Robichaud, who boasts over 25 years of martial arts experience, Whitby Karate offers classes for kids, teens, and adults starting from 4 years of age and up.

With over a decade in teaching the traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu style, our modern facility includes a 1000 square foot fully matted training area with large mirrors to perfect your technique. Programs cover self-defence, traditional forms (kata), kobudo (weapons training), basics, character development, sparring, and physical fitness—ideal for beginners and experienced martial artists alike.

Whitby Karate takes pride in its affiliation with the World Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo Association, guaranteeing high-quality instruction. As members of both the World Kobudo Federation and WOKKSA, our students benefit from excellent guidance in traditional karate and kobudo.
