Sensei Chris Syrett's own journey in martial arts began at the age of eleven with Tae Kwon Do. Over the years, he has trained in various martial arts disciplines such as Wuzuquan Kung Fu and Bujinkai Karate. However, it was Shotokan Karate that captured his heart in 1991, and he firmly believes it to be the most solid and practical style he has studied.
The Whitstable Shotokan Karate Club offers classes for both children and adults in Whistable on Mondays and Faversham on Thursdays. Whether you are a beginner or have prior experience, joining a class is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the world of Karate and reap its numerous benefits.
