Racing is a big part of our club, and we offer regular class racing for different boat categories. We have one of the largest fleets of GP14s in the country, with class racing on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Our Laser sailors also have separate starts on race days. We rely on the commitment and support of our volunteer members to organise and manage our racing events throughout the year.

Windsurfing on the Welsh Harp Reservoir is a popular activity at WHSC. Our welcoming team of volunteer instructors and member helpers ensure that windsurfers of all skill levels have a great time on the water. The reservoir offers a spacious and safe environment for beginners and intermediate windsurfers. As a volunteer-run club, we depend on the active participation of our members to maintain high-quality equipment, facilities, and training for windsurfing enthusiasts.

The Welsh Harp or Brent Reservoir is a hidden gem that provides 125 acres of open water for sailing and windsurfing. It is easily accessible by both public transport and car, with ample parking available.
