Winchester School of Martial Arts

Winchester School of Martial Arts is a Martial Arts school and fitness centre located in Winchester, New Zealand. The school offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels, including Little Dragons, Little Ninjas, BJJ Kids, Teens & Adults, and Family Martial Arts.

The instructors at Winchester School of Martial Arts are highly qualified and experienced. Sensei Jude, the founder of the school, currently holds the rank of 3rd Dan in Ju Jitsu, 1st Dan in Taekwon-do, and a Brown Belt in BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu).

Sensei Jude began her Martial Arts career over 25 years ago, starting with Taekwon-Do ITF. She has competed successfully in tournaments, winning Gold both individually and as part of a team. After apprehending a burglar in her home, she started studying Ju Jitsu and has worked in frontline security, proving the effectiveness of her skills.

Classes take place at Sparsholt College Sports Centre, which provides a modern and well-equipped studio. There is ample parking available on-site, with designated parking in the Sainsbury carpark. The way to the Sports Centre is clearly signposted.

Winchester School of Martial Arts follows a philosophy that emphasises a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment. Winchester School of Martial Arts also offers Little Dragons Ju Jitsu classes for children ages 3-6, where they can learn striking skills, throws, pins downs, and how to defend against them.
