Open year-round from 9am to 4pm on weekdays and weekends, Sam invites sports players to launch their personal non-powered crafts and soak up the stunning views of Wales and Hilbre Island. For those seeking structured learning, the Centre also offers various courses and instructor-led sessions.

Safety is a priority, with the Watersports Team, led by Sam, regularly monitoring weather conditions via a newly-installed weather station. If you're planning a visit, remember to purchase your licence in advance, with options ranging from a One Day Ticket at £13 to an Annual Licence at £170.

Booking is straightforward, and Sam suggests pre-booking and pre-paying for licences, sessions, and courses online or via telephone during operating hours. Advanced courses might have prerequisites, so check before booking. A new entrance gate system is being installed to streamline the parking process.

For existing members with a three-month licence, there's the added convenience of booking up to three days in advance. Sam emphasises the importance of cancelling bookings if plans change, as no-shows are recorded.
