About
Welcome to Woy Woy Judo Club, the Central Coast's longest running family-operated Judo Club. Established in 1982, our club has a rich history and a strong reputation in the local community. We are proud to have been awarded the title of Best National Regional Club in 2017, NSW Inspired Club in 2015 and 2017, and Best Australian 3 Star Judo Club in 2019.
At Woy Woy Judo Club, we offer a range of classes suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you are looking to get your children involved in a martial art, seeking a new challenge, setting fitness goals, or simply want to cross-train martial arts, we have a class that will suit your needs.
Our classes are designed to build confidence, social skills, coordination, and introduce traditional Japanese teachings and discipline. We cater to everyone, from children who may be shy or lacking self-confidence to teenagers and adults looking to improve their physical fitness and learn self-defence techniques.
One of our newest additions is the Women's Self Defence classes. These classes provide a friendly and empowering environment for women aged 13 and above to learn valuable self-defence skills while getting active and building strength and confidence.
For the little ones, we have the Tiny Cowuchi Judo class for 3-4-year-olds, where they can get their first taste of Judo and develop motor and cognitive skills. The Mini Cow Uchi Judo class is designed for 5-6-year-olds and focuses on enhancing cognitive development, motor skills, and self-confidence. Our Kids Judo class for 7-12-year-olds is the largest on the Central Coast and Hunter Region and provides a fun and safe environment to learn judo fundamentals.
We have a dedicated coaching staff who are experienced and passionate about Judo. They are committed to providing quality instruction and ensuring a positive and inclusive training environment for all members.
Our club operates on a no-contracts and no-joining fees policy so that you can focus on enjoying your Judo journey without any financial commitments.
