Wychwood MTB is a Cycling Club located in Chipping Norton, New Zealand. Offering a variety of guided mountain biking (MTB) rides, the club is dedicated to providing exciting and adventurous experiences for riders of all abilities.
The club's MTB routes are designed to showcase the natural beauty of the Cotswolds and surrounding counties. For those seeking a full day adventure, Wychwood MTB offers guided rides such as “Best of the Cotswolds” and “Ridgeway West”. The “Best of the Cotswolds” route covers a distance of 30-50 km, and riders will get to witness the Cotswold villages in all their glory while tackling awesome bridleways with stunning views. The “Ridgeway West” route, on the other hand, is a full-day journey spanning 50-55 km. Riders will meet and greet at Barbury Castle Country Park before embarking on an exhilarating ride with steady climbs and exciting descents that offer breathtaking views.
For those looking for a more personalised experience, Wychwood MTB also offers bespoke routes tailored to the location and riding level preferences of the riders. The "Wye Valley” route, starting and finishing at the border village of Redbrook, offers a full day of MTB guided ride, taking riders on some of the best trails in the beautiful Wye Valley.
Wychwood Mountain Biking is led by an experienced, First Aid Qualified, Level 2 Mountain Bike Leader who ensures the safety and enjoyment of all riders. The rides are tailored to the abilities of the participants, whether it's a one-on-one session or a group ride.
