Yamala Yoga is a gym located in Paddington, Brisbane, and is run by co-owners Meg and Hilary, who are twin sisters with a deep passion for sharing their love of yoga and helping individuals achieve balance in body, mind, and soul. The name “Yamala” is derived from the Sanskrit word for “twins,” which perfectly symbolises the owners' unique connexion.

Meg and Hilary have been practising yoga for many years and decided to further their journey by studying Yoga Teacher Training. They offer a unique style of yoga that is suitable for all levels and abilities, catering to both children and seniors. At Yamala Yoga, there is no pressure to perform difficult poses or hold strenuous positions for extended periods. Instead, they encourage individuals to come as they are and do what they can, creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment.

The gym aims to make yoga accessible to everyone by providing down-to-earth yoga classes accompanied by sweet tunes and plenty of fun. With a warm and loving atmosphere, individuals can expect a positive and welcoming environment that promotes relaxation and stretching. Yamala Yoga offers a range of classes suitable for different needs and preferences. Unfortunately, as of now, there are no classes currently on offer. However, they do provide private yoga classes upon request, allowing individuals to tailor their practise to their specific requirements.
