Yogaroma

Yogaroma is a renowned yoga studio located in London, founded by Lara Stapleton in 2004. With over 20 years of experience as an international yoga teacher and aromatherapist, Lara combines her expertise to provide a unique and holistic experience for her clients. The studio offers Scaravelli Inspired Yoga classes, incorporating the use of oils, followed by aromatherapy massage treatments.

The "Yogaroma Experience” begins with a private yoga session tailored to the individual's needs, focusing on breath, creating space and expansion, alignment, gravity, and awareness. The session allows the mind and body to surrender and let go. Immediately after the yoga session, clients receive an aromatherapy massage. The oils used in the massage are blended specifically for each individual, providing a deep sense of relaxation, release of tension and pain, and stress relief.

Yogaroma also offers weekly open Hatha/Scaravelli Inspired Yoga classes with Lara. These classes are held on Mondays at Yogaloft in Beethoven Street and Thursdays at The Life Centre in Nottinghill Gate. The classes focus on somatic movements and asanas, utilising the ground, breath, spine, expansion, and space. Lara guides participants away from simply “doing” movement, and instead encourages them to “be” in the movement, promoting sensory awareness and the opening of new neurological pathways in the body.

The classes incorporate exercises on the ground to reduce myofascial holding, followed by an intelligent asana sequence to integrate, strengthen, elongate, and bring vitality to the inner structures of the body. The practise is deeply meditative, transformative, and grounding.

In addition to regular classes, Yogaroma organises yoga retreats. These retreats provide opportunities for participants to deepen their practise, relax, and rejuvenate. Retreats are held in various locations including 42 Acres in Somerset, England, Suryalila in Andalucia, Spain, and Finca el Moro in Andalusia, Spain.

As a trained aromatherapist, Lara incorporates aromatherapy into her practise. She blends essential oils specifically tailored to each individual's needs, offering a deeply holistic and intuitive approach. The oils have profound effects on the emotional body and psyche, relieving stress, anxiety, trauma, adrenal fatigue, hormonal conditions, and more.
