Prim trained with the London Yoga Teacher Training Group and incorporates the Scaravelli approach of awakening the spine's strength and suppleness through non-competitive yoga movements coupled with breathing techniques.
Yoga Wimborne welcomes individuals of all adult ages, genders, levels of fitness, and most medical conditions. The classes focus on calming and clearing the mind, releasing tensions in the body, and improving posture and breathing. Classes at Yoga Wimborne are 1. 5 hours long and cost 10 per class. Part of this time is dedicated to breathing and relaxation at the beginning and end of each session. Prim also offers a new payment method where individuals can pay 34 in advance for a calendar month of classes, usually consisting of four sessions.
If there happens to be a fifth class in the month, it is included for free. Participants are free to choose between the two payment options or use both methods as per their convenience.
While no additional equipment is required except for a yoga mat, Prim recommends using a specifically designed non-slip yoga mat for added comfort. Classes are held at Colehill Village Hall (Memorial) in Wimborne. The Wednesday class takes place from 7-8:30pm, while the Thursday class is scheduled from 2-3:30pm. The hall is conveniently located off the main road through Colehill, near the library, and provides ample free parking.
