Throughout the four-day program, participants will receive two days of classroom and dive pool training at Port Douglas' exceptional purpose-built PADI 5 Star IDC dive facility. The remaining two days of practical training take place on our modern dive and snorkel catamaran, granting you access to some of the most pristine dive sites in the region. During the first two days, you'll immerse yourself in dive theory in our comfortable classrooms and acquire the necessary scuba diving skills in our state-of-the-art pool. It's the perfect opportunity to build your confidence and get comfortable with your gear before heading out into the big blue.
Days three and four are where the real adventure begins! You'll hop aboard either Poseidon or Silversonic, our custom-built dive and snorkel catamarans, and embark on four exhilarating training dives. These dives will be conducted under the watchful eyes of our expert instructors, who will be there every step of the way to ensure your safety and guide you through the underwater wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
By the end of Day 4, you'll officially become a certified PADI Open Water Diver, a title that opens up a whole new world of exploration. The course is priced at $1,042 per person, including the Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC). Rates are in Australian Dollars, and there may be credit card surcharges.
