Welcome to Adelaide Polo Club, one of Australia's most successful polo clubs. With a rich history dating back to 1879, this club is steeped in tradition. Located just 35kms from Adelaide's CBD in the historic town of Woodside, Adelaide Polo Club provides a stunning rural atmosphere in the Adelaide Hills.
With 150 members and 10 committee members, Adelaide Polo Club is a tight-knit community. The club organises tournaments every weekend from late December to late March, offering free access to all local tournaments. This allows members and visitors to not only enjoy the exciting sport of polo but also experience the beautiful surroundings and great company that the Adelaide Hills has to offer.
Adelaide Polo Club offers a range of events throughout the year. There are three major tournaments that attract interstate competitors: the Adelaide Hunt Club Cup Tournament and Lunch on 11th and 12th February 2023, the Barr Smith Cup Tournament and Lunch on 4th and 5th March 2023, and the Verco Cup Tournament and Lunch on 25th and 26th March 2023. These events showcase top-level polo and provide a fantastic opportunity for members and spectators to immerse themselves in the sport.
