In her day job as a counsellor, while counselling children and young people in her local area of Marayong and Kings Park, Christa Anthony felt she could further contribute to her local community by opening a dance studio, with her vision being to share her joy of dance in a safe and welcoming environment for all children and young people. So with this in mind Studio Dance NSW was first established in February 2009 in a local school hall. By October 2010 Studio Dance NSW relocated to its current premises in Kings Park and evolved from a Dance Studio to a Performing Arts Studio, introducing other art forms/genres and introducing classes to include adults and those with Special Needs.
