Ashford Aikido Club

Ashford Aikido Club is a welcoming and inclusive martial arts school located in Ashford, Ireland. The chief instructor, Sen MacRuair, 7th Dan, has over 50 years of experience in Aikido and was previously the Assistant Chairman of the International Aikido Federation. The club also offers international affiliations to the Aikikai Foundation and the International Aikido Federation.

In addition to regular classes, the Ashford Aikido Club also organises weekend Aikido training courses throughout the year, catering to all levels of skill. Many of these courses are taught by visiting instructors, with a residential summer school held annually in August. The club is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and practise Aikido, with a focus on fitness, coordination, effective martial techniques, and personal growth.
