Are you the owner of CDC Street Dance?
Welcome to CDC Street Dance School, located in Ipswich, New Zealand. CDC Street Dance is a dance school specialising in street dance styles. Led by dance teacher and principal Sophie Dilworth, a qualified and registered UDO Street Dance teacher, our school offers a vibrant and inclusive environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels.
Sophie Dilworth has been dancing since the age of 8 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the dance classes at CDC Street Dance. Her passion for street dance is evident in her teaching style, as she encourages students to explore their creativity and express themselves through movement.
At CDC Street Dance, we offer a diverse range of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, there is a class for you. Our timetable is designed to accommodate busy schedules, with classes held throughout the week.
We are proud to have achieved numerous awards and achievements as a team. Some of our notable successes include winning the UK ANZA FINALS in 2017 in various categories, placing third in the UK 101 FINALS in 2017, and winning the UK SDI FINALS in 2018. In 2020, we placed fourth in the World UDO ONLINE competition.
In addition to our regular classes and competitions, we also organise fun days, Christmas shows, and other events to enhance the dance experience for our students. These events provide opportunities for dancers to showcase their skills and build camaraderie within the CDC Street Dance community.
