
For those interested in conquering their fear of water and learning the basics of swimming, the UQAM Sports Center offers swimming lessons. These classes help participants become familiar with the pool equipment, learn the basics of body positioning in the water, floating, and gliding in the water. The sessions run for a period of 7 weeks during the spring-summer 2024. The schedules are as follows: Monday from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm, Friday from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm, Sunday from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm, and Sunday from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm. Prices vary depending on whether you are a student or member of UQAM, employee or non-member graduate, or external participant. Additionally, a 25% discount is applicable when purchasing a second course in the same session.
