Go Sports - Indooroopilly/Toowong/St Lucia is a well-established sports club located in Brisbane, Australia. With over 25 years of experience, Go Sports has been providing high-quality children's sports activities and coaching classes to primary school children in over 60 public and private schools throughout Brisbane and its surrounds.
Founded by Director Greg Martin, a physical education teacher, Go Sports was created to address the need for improving basic motor skills and promoting an active lifestyle among young children aged 4 to 9 years old. The club's mission is to identify the specific needs of each child, encourage them to develop skills and be active, and teach sports skills in a fun and engaging environment.
All of Go Sports' classes are conducted by coaches who have been intensively trained in the Go Sports philosophy. The club maintains a maximum coach-to-child ratio of 1:8 in Before and After School Programmes to ensure that each child receives the attention they require. Additionally, all coaches hold child suitability Blue Cards, guaranteeing a safe and personalised learning experience for every child.
Go Sports offers a variety of sports coaching classes, including netball, cricket, tennis, soccer, basketball, and multi-sports. These classes focus on enhancing children's physical, emotional, and social skills, while also teaching the specific skills of each sport. One of the popular programmes offered by Go Sports is the Before and After School Coaching, which runs for approximately 5–6 weeks during each school term.
