About

Grammar TEC Rugby Club, a top name in Auckland's rugby scene, has roots going back to 1873. With the highest number of registered players in Auckland, they're serious about fostering rugby talent at all levels.

Grammar TEC has plenty to be proud of, with former members like Bert Cooke, Wilson Whineray, Fred Allen, Kel Tremain, and the Whetton brothers, Alan and Gary. The club's three venues at Orakei Domain, Cornwall Park, and Thomas Bloodworth Park (Shore Rd) are equipped with clubrooms and lit fields, making training and playing a great experience.

With 10 senior teams and over 1,000 junior players, there are plenty of chances to play and develop your skills. For those keen to join, life members can donate annually, and volunteers like coaches and managers don’t pay fees. Players only pay $120 annually, covering gear, upkeep, and more, and they get a warm-up tee and membership card with discounts. Non-playing members can support with a $50 subscription, helping keep the club running smoothly.

With a new Club Liquor Licence, entry measures ensure everyone’s safety and compliance. Grammar TEC always welcomes volunteers, supporters, and sponsors to be a part of their storied legacy. For more info, check out their website or contact the administration.
