We have received training from World Para Dance, a leading organisation in wheelchair dance, to ensure that our instructors are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality instruction.

Impetus Dance was founded in 2016 by Louise Bowman, a highly experienced dance teacher and registered occupational therapist. Louise's passion for dance and inclusivity led her to establish Impetus Dance, combining her professional knowledge and personal interests. She has over 20 years of experience in Latin and Ballroom dance and is a registered instructor with World Para Dance.
Louise firmly believes in the power of dance to promote social inclusion, self-expression, and movement. She recognises that dance not only improves physical health but also enhances mental well-being and promotes important life skills, such as independence and confidence.
