The Budokwai is excited to promote an upcoming local Mixed Martial Arts event! This event is perfect for all the passionate and enthusiastic players out there who want to showcase their skills and have a great time.
One of the unique classes offered at The Budokwai is JudoGym. Held in a fully padded 'dojo' or room, this class provides a comfortable and safe space for children to explore their physical capabilities. It's the ideal opportunity for budding young Martial Artists to delve into the world of mixed martial arts. The best part? Learning through play is encouraged, making it fun and engaging for everyone involved.
During the JudoGym classes, our energetic and enthusiastic Session Leaders ensure that every child has a blast. Parents and guardians are also invited to join in on the fun, fostering a strong bond with their child along the way. With music, songs, bubbles, and an array of colours, the JudoGym classes are a feast of fun and educational stimuli.
What's more, many of our JudoGymers have successfully transitioned into Juniors and Teens, further cultivating their martial arts skills as they grow. Classes are conveniently held on weekday mornings and follow a termly basis, with three terms starting in January, April, and September. The fees for attending once a week to the chosen class are £215 per term.
But wait, there's more! Aside from JudoGym, we also offer Art classes in our Club room. This gives children the chance to experiment with texture, colour, and express their creative flare. It's a fantastic way for them to explore their artistic side while also engaging in physical activity.
To secure a place in any of our classes, we advise early booking as spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Application forms can be obtained from Budokwai Reception, or you can request them via post or email. Please note that refunds are not available after payment has been made, and classes cannot be carried over to the next term.
