Kore Kickboxing is an adult (14+) Korean Kickboxing Club located near Glasgow and Stirling in Balfron, Scotland. The club offers a unique blend of K1 Kickboxing, Tae-Kwon-Do, and Thai-Boxing. Led by highly experienced instructors, Neil Buchanan (4th Dan), Ian MacDonald (3rd Dan), and Tony Lee (2nd Dan), Kore Kickboxing provides a challenging and dynamic training environment for individuals of all skill levels.
As members of WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organisations), Kore Kickboxing is recognised by the IOC (International Olympics Committee). This affiliation ensures that members receive the highest quality training and adhere to the standards set by the global kickboxing community.
Classes at Kore Kickboxing are designed to be intense and varied, incorporating warm-ups, strengthening exercises, stretching, technique practise, padwork, and sparring. The club prides itself on providing a well-rounded training experience that improves physical fitness, mental focus, and self-defence capabilities.
Training classes run on Mondays from 8pm to 9. 30pm at the Small Gym in Balfron Sports Campus, as well as on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm. The first lesson is free, allowing newcomers to witness Kore Kickboxing in action, try it out, meet fellow members, and decide if it aligns with their goals and interests. All that is needed to participate are sports trousers or shorts and a t-shirt.
However, spectators are also welcome to observe a class before making a commitment.
