At Leicester Greek Dancing Group, traditional circle dances take centre stage. Experienced dancers lead while beginners follow, making it easy for everyone to step in and enjoy. Simple, repetitive steps ensure a fun atmosphere, and when things get challenging, there’s plenty of laughter to go around!
From island jigs to mountain moves, the school's repertoire captures the essence of Greek traditions. Open to children, teens, and adults, everyone is welcome to join—no prior experience needed. Popi and her team make sure every participant feels confident and comfortable.
Exciting news for seasoned dancers: Popi is looking for performers for an advanced group, aiming to launch an amateur troupe. This is your chance to promote Greek culture both locally and globally! Prior Greek dance knowledge is a must for this group.
