Maria Hirsch

Maria Hirsch is a registered German Naturopath and Yoga teacher (BYV) with a passion for relaxation and healing. Originally from Bavaria, southern Germany, Maria has always been connected to nature, with the mountains leaving a lasting impression on her. This connexion to nature and the desire to accompany and support others on their healing journeys led her to dedicate her life to learning about health and the art of healing.

After completing her studies in social work, Maria worked in a hospice for a year, where she learned to appreciate the beauty in every moment, accept the present, and maintain hope and confidence. Yoga has played a crucial role in Maria's life, allowing her to connect with her body and emotions and find grounding. Teaching yoga and sharing this practise with others has further deepened her own practise and gratitude.

In 2011, Maria moved to London with her husband, embracing the city's diversity and the abundance of cultural, social, and spiritual offerings. She is grateful for the enriching experiences and looks forward to future encounters and beautiful moments.

Yoga is at the core of Maria's offerings. It is based on a millennia-old tradition and emphasises unity and harmony. Anyone can practise yoga, and each class combines dynamic and static elements to help keep individuals calm, balanced, and refreshed. The various yoga postures, breathing exercises, deep relaxation, and meditation all contribute to relieving physical and mental stress, increasing clarity, mental power, and concentration.

In addition to yoga, Maria offers oil massages and breathing therapy. These treatments aim to provide a break from everyday life, relax the soul, and promote the softening of body tissues, release of tension, activation of energy channels, and harmonisation of the nervous system. High-quality, pure organic oils are used, often warmed up for added comfort. Each massage is followed by a rest period and a warm herbal tea to support the healing process.
