in Ballymena, founded in 2001 by Rodney Moore, is a martial arts school dedicated to providing high-quality tuition. What started as a small club in a garage with only three members has now evolved into a full-time gym with over 200 members, located in the heart of the town. In 2010, Next Generation Ballymena joined forces and affiliated themselves with Chris Brennan's renowned Next Generation family.

Rodney Moore, the founder, has been involved in martial arts since he was seven years old. He has trained in various disciplines such as karate, jiu-jitsu, boxing, eskrima, and mixed martial arts. Rodney's extensive training includes learning from acclaimed masters such as Dan Inosanto, Eric Paulson, Machaddo Brothers, Dog Brothers, Frank Mir, and Master Toddy. He holds notable achievements, being the third person in Ireland to attain a Blue Belt under Royce Gracie and the first person in Northern Ireland to receive a purple belt under Next Generation Founder Chris Brennan.

Rodney has taken his club members to compete in prestigious events like the UFC, as well as top European and UK shows and promotions. He himself holds Irish and UK Middleweight titles and even competed in the “Ultimate Fighter 3” television series.
