Nestled in Oundle, the Oundle Bowling Club, with over a century of history, is your go-to spot for enjoying bowls. Barry, the organiser, welcomes everyone, regardless of age or skill, to come and play.
After a facelift in 2020, the club now features great facilities: ample parking, a cosy clubroom, a fully stocked bar, and an A* green. Perfect for relaxing and socialising.
Barry keeps the calendar packed with social events and friendly competitions throughout the year. It's a great place to make new friends and enjoy some friendly rivalry.
From April to October, the outdoor season is buzzing with matches and club competitions. For those who prefer a more casual game, there are weekly bowls drives and casual play sessions.
Come winter, the fun moves indoors with short mat bowling sessions in the clubhouse. Barry makes sure there are plenty of opportunities to keep playing, whether it's a weekday or evening.
Inclusivity is key for Barry. The club welcomes individuals with disabilities, ensuring everyone has a chance to play and enjoy the game.
Looking to host an event? The clubroom/bar is available for hire at competitive rates, perfect for celebrations or corporate events.
