Founded in 2015 by Miroslava Hirnerova, a former professional ballet dancer and ballet teacher from Slovakia, Pilatosophy offers a unique and personalised approach to Pilates instruction.
Mira Hirnerova brings over 20 years of experience in teaching Pilates, having studied and earned full certifications from two renowned Pilates schools, Canadian Stott Pilates and Australian Pilates International. Her dedication to the art of Pilates goes beyond just fitness; she believes in the transformational power it can have on both the body and the mind.
At Pilatosophy, the emphasis is on providing a private setting for the client, allowing for a true commitment to the practise and the opportunity to learn the nuances of their own body. While group exercises can be popular and enjoyable, Mira believes that Pilates should be approached as a deeply personal and engaging experience. The studio is fully equipped with state-of-the-art Balanced Body Pilates equipment, ensuring the highest quality of movement and posture training. Mira offers one-on-one private Pilates sessions, tailored to the individual's needs and goals. Each session lasts for one hour and costs $100. For those who prefer the convenience of remote instruction, Zoom Pilates classes are also available.
