L (Therapeutic Horse Riding In Lindsay) is a not-for-profit registered charity that offers a unique horse therapy riding program for individuals of all ages with physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. Since 2014, T. H. R.

I. L has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for those facing such challenges by providing equine therapy led by certified instructors.

Therapeutic riding has long been recognized as a beneficial therapy activity, and T. H. R. I.

L is proud to offer this service to over 30 riders each week. Participants, ranging from 4 to 60 years old, have the opportunity to experience the joy and thrill of riding on trained therapy horses. Through this program, riders work on areas such as balance, strength, muscle tone, coordination, spatial awareness, as well as enhancing their self-esteem, communication, and socialization skills.

T. H. R. I.

L aims to provide a high-quality therapy horseback riding program that is approved by CanTRA (Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association) at a minimal cost to participants. Through donations, support from local businesses, and community volunteers, T. H. R.

I. L is able to offer this valuable service to those in need. With 3 ponies and 2 horses currently in the program, T. H.

R. I. L ensures that the animals receive proper care and covers all associated expenses.

As a member centre of CanTRA, T. H. R. I.

L has qualified CanTRA instructors who work alongside dedicated volunteers to ensure that therapy sessions on horseback are safe, enjoyable, and effective. T. H. R.
