The Australian Government through Sport Australia recognises the Australian Jujitsu Federation Inc. as the National Sporting Organisation for all Jujitsu.

August 2000 by the Australian Society of Ju
Jitsuans (ASJJ), the AJF administers the National Coaching and National Officiating programs accrediting coaches in both jujitsu and related martial arts including Aikido, Aiki-Jujitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido, Jujutsu, Kenpo Jujitsu and is recognised by the International body Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF).
